Serangan is the recommended port when travelling to / from south Bali areas, and Padang Bai to / from central Bali. Roads can get very busy, so the hotel transfer options are quicker and cheaper doing it this way.

Considering the experiences that other people have had in Padang Bai ports, this is First class! From the efficient booking system that already includes all fees, to the option to have convenient, efficient, and reasonably priced hotel pick up and drop off, I couldn’t recommend them enough. The check in area is comfortable, with friendly staff, and very organized. The boats are clean, spacious, and well-maintained. And yes, they might be a bit more expensive than other services, but the time, effort, and energy you save from being hustled, pushed around, or made to do line up again and again to pay different fees, sometimes very small, is not worth the savings.
Tip: book their pick up and drop off service too. It may seem a bit expensive at first, but again, convenience, professionalism, comfort and safety, are priceless. Worth it!
Definitely great service in general, more expensive than other companies (I only checked a few, not all the companies) but probably a better service. The boat that I was on showed that it was in good shape, as a comment. I noticed some other reviews complaining about the boat being fast and with it being rough, passengers got sick. That is not the fault of a fast boat company, that is Mother Nature. Sometimes the sea is rough and these are small and fast boats so they will have a rough ride. The day that I rode, the sea was pretty good and I had a good ride but I have a little story, I had a problem with my ticket and they managed to fix the problem with my ticket. I was quite surprised and very pleased with the result so overall, for the service I got, I definitively give a five-star rating. I will be needing a fast boat service again and will plan on using this provider again rather than one of the other fast boat companies. But if the weather and waves are ‘unhappy’, I might save my stomach….issues…. and hopefully the weather will be better on a different day.
We are having a Christmas break in Bali and Lombok and wanted to give a 5 star review.
Our trip out was perfect, very easy and porters, staff and everyone on hand made it really easy and quick service. Nice boat, comfortable and very safe.
On our return to Bali we got unlucky with the weather and without hesitation they cancelled the service, arranged a buss, shuttled us down to the slow ferry and the staff even accompanied us for the journey and met us at the other side.
It was a much longer journey than planned but 100% safe and all the staff were really helpful, kind, thoughtful and professional.
